XRP Jumps as Ripple Drops SEC Appeal

XRP’s price surged over 3% on Friday after Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse announced the company is dropping its cross-appeal against the U.S. SEC. Garlinghouse stated they are “closing this chapter once and for all,” expecting the SEC to follow suit by dropping their appeal as well. This signals a potential end to the nearly four-year legal battle, allowing Ripple to focus on its core business.
