US Indicts Two in $650M OmegaPro Scam

US prosecutors charged Michael Shannon Sims and Juan Carlos Reynoso with operating OmegaPro, a crypto scheme defrauding investors of over $650 million. The DOJ alleges the MLM promised 300% returns and used lavish promotions, including projecting its logo on Dubai’s Burj Khalifa. Victims couldn’t withdraw funds after a fake “hack,” with money allegedly laundered to insiders.
