Tasmanian Police Find Crypto ATM Users are Scam Victims

Tasmanian police found all top 15 crypto ATM users in the state were scam victims, losing a combined A$2.5 million ($1.6 million). Scammers often directed victims to crypto ATMs after traditional banks flagged suspicious transactions. This discovery is part of a nationwide Australian crackdown on the criminal use of crypto ATMs.
