Smarter Web Co. Raises $56M After Bitcoin Buy

The Smarter Web Company, a UK-based web design and marketing firm, has raised $56 million from institutional investors through an accelerated bookbuild. This capital raise comes just days after the company purchased $20 million worth of Bitcoin, increasing its total holdings to over 540 BTC. Despite the successful fundraising, the company’s stock on the OTCQB fell by 15% on Thursday.
