Optimism, an Ethereum scaling solution, is updating its governance for “Season 8” starting August 1st. Changes include stakeholder voting and a new “auto-pass” system for most proposals unless a stakeholder vetoes. This aims to reduce the burden on contributors and enhance decentralization by involving more groups beyond just tokenholders.
