Nvidia to Launch Cheaper AI Chips for China Amid U.S. Export Limits

Nvidia plans to release a low-cost AI chip for China by June, priced between $6,500 and $8,000, following U.S. export restrictions on its high-end H20 chips. The move aims to regain ground in China’s $50 billion data center market, where Nvidia’s share has dropped sharply. The new chip will comply with U.S. bandwidth rules and counter competition from Huawei’s Ascend 910D chip
