Canadian agricultural firm AgriFORCE has launched a new initiative using “stranded” natural gas to power 120 Bitcoin mining rigs in Alberta. This waste gas, typically uneconomical to transport, now fuels their operation. The company plans to expand to two more Canadian sites, aiming to leverage cheap energy for crypto mining and potentially hold mined Bitcoin in its treasury.
