Microsoft is warning digital wallet holders to stay on high alert, urging them to use antivirus software and cloud-based security tools. The alert comes after discovering a new Remote Access Trojan (RAT) designed to hijack digital wallets, giving hackers full control over infected devices. Spread through phishing emails and malicious downloads, this malware steals credentials, drains crypto funds, and even spies on user activity in real-time. It can also extract saved passwords from Chrome and track clipboard data for crypto keys.
Stay alert—one wrong click could cost you everything.
