Melissa Muehlfeld has resigned her position as OKX Global General Counsel amid legal restructuring at the crypto company. Muehlfeld assumed the position in August 2024 after achieving promotion as Deputy General Counsel, a position she had held since May 2022.
Her resignation follows several high-level departures within the OKX legal and compliance division, like the former Chief Legal Officer Mauricio Beugelmans. These exits come in the wake of a $500M settlement between OKX and the United States Department of Justice. Melissa Muehlfeld hasn’t publicly addressed her departure yet.
