Editorial Integrity & Compliance Statement

Last Updated: August, 2025

  • Commitment to Public Trust

In a media environment increasingly affected by misinformation, hype, and hidden agendas, DIQ places the public interest above all. Accuracy, transparency, and editorial independence are non-negotiable and form the cornerstone of our credibility and long-term reputation.

  • Mission and Purpose

DIQ delivers independent, authoritative journalism covering digital assets, blockchain technology, RegTech, crypto licensing, and financial compliance frameworks. We spotlight innovators and projects creating positive impact while maintaining rigorous scrutiny of actors misusing technology or evading regulatory standards.

We uphold principles of decentralization, personal sovereignty, digital ownership, and freedom, yet maintain a critical, evidence-based lens in evaluating claims within these sectors.

  • Editorial Governance and Independence

Editorial autonomy is foundational to DIQ’s credibility. Coverage decisions are made solely based on newsworthiness, public interest, and journalistic merit, free from influence by management, advertisers, investors, or external parties.

Editorial staff operate independently from commercial operations. Advertisers, sponsors, and partners have no authority to influence, delay, or suppress reporting. Requests to alter or withhold coverage for commercial or political reasons will be formally refused.

  • Ethical Reporting Standards

DIQ adheres to the following principles:

  • Accuracy: Rigorous fact-checking with prompt corrections.
  • Transparency: Disclosure of conflicts, sourcing limitations, and errors.
  • Integrity: Clear separation of sponsored content from editorial work.
  • Originality: Priority on exclusive investigations, original analysis, and in-depth reporting.
  • Social Media and Personal Conduct

DIQ journalists may use personal social media accounts but must not:

  • Disclose unpublished reporting or confidential information.
  • Endorse, promote, or appear to promote digital assets under coverage.
  • Accept payments, gifts, or benefits for posts.
  • Present personal views as DIQ editorial positions.

Official DIQ content remains the definitive record of reporting.

  • Artificial Intelligence Usage

AI tools may assist with research, data analysis, or visual production but cannot replace editorial judgment. Substantive AI contributions must be disclosed to editors and, when material, to readers. AI is never credited as a journalist or author.

  • Opinion and Commentary

All opinion pieces are explicitly labelled and reflect the author’s individual perspective. Publication does not constitute DIQ endorsement or represent the views of its staff or ownership.

  • Embargo and Pre-Publication Policy

Embargoed material is accepted only with prior agreement and for compelling reasons, such as complex reporting or public interest. DIQ may disregard unagreed embargoes.

  • Corrections and Updates

Factual errors are corrected promptly, transparently, and clearly annotated. Cosmetic or stylistic edits are not flagged. Correction requests may be submitted to the relevant editor or author.

  • Sponsored and Commercial Content

Sponsored content is created and managed solely by the business team, clearly labelled, and visually distinct. Editorial staff have no role or obligation in its production or coverage. Editorial decisions remain entirely independent of commercial relationships.

  •  Plagiarism and Attribution

DIQ maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism. When reporting relies on external outlets, proper attribution is provided.

  •  Questions and Feedback
