The recent shutdown of Huione Guarantee, a major crypto darknet marketplace on Telegram, has led to the emergence of at least 30 successor platforms. Blockchain analysis firm Elliptic reports that Tudou Guarantee has been the primary beneficiary, doubling its user base and achieving transaction volumes similar to Huione’s before its closure. This indicates that while one illicit market may close, others quickly fill the void, continuing to facilitate crypto-based scams and money laundering.
