PayPal announced that the US Securities and Exchange Commission has closed its inquiry into the payment company’s US-dollar stablecoin. In a regulatory filing dated April 29, PayPal revealed that the SEC has finished its investigation of PayPal USD and will not pursue any further actions. The firm indicated that it received a subpoena from the SEC’s Division of Enforcement regarding its stablecoin back in November 2023.
