Solana’s meme launchpad, Pump.fun, is planning to raise $1 billion via token sale at a fully diluted valuation (FDV) of $4 billion. According to a post on X, the event will be open to the public and private investors.
The token is expected to launch in two weeks. However, the exact date for the sale hasn’t been revealed yet. Additionally, details about where the token will be issued remain unclear.
After launching in 2024 on Solana, Pump.fun has generated more than $700 million in cumulative revenue. Users have minted almost 11 million new meme tokens with a total market cap of $4.4 billion.
