Interest in Crypto Gaming Declined in April

In April, there was a decline in user engagement in blockchain gaming, and investments decreased, but the broader ecosystem is becoming more robust and evolving, as stated by the blockchain analytics firm DappRadar.

The number of daily Unique Active Wallets in blockchain gaming fell by 10% in April, hitting a low of 4.8 million for 2025, according to DappRadar analyst Sara Gherghelas in the platform’s April Games Report.

The share of gaming within the decentralized application sector also decreased and is now equal to that of decentralized finance at 21%.
