Inactive Crypto Platforms May Be Shut Down

AUSTRAC is calling out inactive digital asset exchanges for deregistration or cancellation, which are mandatory. Of the 427 registered exchanges, most are inactive and will help raise concerns of possible criminal misuse of the services. AUSTRAC‘s intention is to clean up its register to ensure that it meets regulatory obligations.
