Hacker Jailed for Fake Bitcoin ETF Tweet from SEC’s Account

A hacker has been sentenced to 14 months in prison for hijacking the SEC’s X account and posting a fake Bitcoin ETF approval. The false post briefly spiked Bitcoin’s price by $1,000 before correcting. The DOJ says the act was a calculated attempt to manipulate markets and mislead the public.
