ESMA Targets Market Abuse in Crypto with New MiCA Compliance Rules

The European Union’s main securities regulatory agency- ESMA- has published new guidelines to help regulators detect crypto market abuse under MiCA. The guidance focus on risk-based checks and cross-border cooperation, and will take effect three months after publication.
