China Jails 9 in $6M Crypto Scam Targeting Indians

A Chinese court sentenced nine fraudsters to up to 14 years in prison for defrauding over 66,000 Indians in a $6 million USDT crypto scam. The group used fake identities and chat apps to lure victims into a fraudulent platform called Senee, promising high returns. Chinese authorities called the scam a coordinated cross-border crime exploiting digital assets and social engineering tactics.
